In this review-only episode of Filmspotting, Adam and Matty risk a huge part of their listener base by coming out fairly negatively against James Cameron’s Avatar.  The main point they try to drive home is that despite the stunning cinematography and the revolutionary technical advancements, nothing can make up for the poor story.  They agree that most of the characters are far too prototypical, the red herrings are far too overt, and ultimately Avatar left them feeling it was unoriginal at best.  Matty points out a diamond in the rough, namely...
