Flower is quickly becoming a media darling.  No matter their opinion almost everyone seems to be able to appreciate the game on some level. There isn’t much more to be said about Halo Wars.  Some like it, some don’t, but nobody seems to really love it or really hate it.  Sounds like one to wait until it hits $40. The second episode of Listen UP is out, and it is as great as 1UP Yours.  Actually, it basically is 1UP Yours.  There really is nothing here to differentiate itself from 1UP Yours other than he name change, but that’s a good thing if you ask me. The rebirth of 1UP Yours has happened and the new show is called Listen UP.  I’m not sure I love the title, but I didn’t love 1UP Yours at first either.  This is still very much the 1UP Yours we’ve come to love, so that’s a good thing.  No logo yet though it seems. Quite a bit of Killzone 2 talk up front here.  The guys seem to like it, but not quite as much as the IGN guys did.  I predict B+ from the 1UP crew.  We’ll see on Monday when they are released from embargo to post their review. We have just noticed that 1UP.com is no longer linked to the 1UP website.  The following message is displayed: You have reached a page that is no longer in our system. As many of you may have heard, 1UP has been bought by UGO and this means many things, many of which we don’t know yet.  One thing we do know is that The 1UP show is done.  It really is shame to see such a great and unique take on the gaming scene go away.  It was certainly something that made Fridays worth the wait every week for me. The 1UP crew is talking about the games of 2009.  More so than is usual it seems we don’t know too much about what is coming next year.  Hopefully there are a lot of games that haven’t been announced yet. The 1UP WOW crew delivers a podcast this week in spite of probably being able to get away with not releasing one.  Who is this Mikey character? Wow, this came out of nowhere.  I didn’t expect there to be a 1UP FM this week, but Nick and Philip have delivered yet again.  No Tina this week though guys, sorry.  They say there will also be a show next week. I am really blown away by 1UP recently. Garnett is bringing us an epic podcast with this one; a podcast that was so big it had to be split into two parts.  The second part will be released next Friday.  This makes for a somewhat “artificial” podcast next week, but I appreciate the approach.  If it was all released today I would listen to it straight through, but now I will have some more 1UP Yours next week.
