Karen is out this week, but semi-regular Justin Haywald from 1UP is in take fill her spot. Since Justin has been in the review process for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, it is the first game discussed this week. Unsurprisingly, God of War is brought up as an obvious inspiration for the game. The conversation then moves on to budget games and why we don’t see more publishers using the cheaper game space for 2D retail titles.
Ryan H. weighs in with some harsh words for Final Fantasy XIV, and then moves on to talk about Minecraft at length. Ryan S. has been playing Civilization V and the group hits on their thoughts on the series and the impact of Civilization Revolution.
MMOs on the whole take center stage, and the show closes with some TV and plenty of comics talk.
