It’s a PAX special this week, much like last year CJ managed to grab a random assortment of special guests to join him. The first of which is Joystiq‘s Justin McElroy. It’s a pretty interesting discussion to start off the show, with CJ asking Justin about his experiences at this and other expos aswell as how he got into the industry and his thoughts on it.
For the second (very very noisy) segment CJ is joined by friend (or is that enemy?) of the show Chris Baker, who works for Marvel Entertainment. Possibly the least structured part of the show as CJ and Chris jump around a bunch of topics, starting with the obvious Marvel related stuff such as the games being shown at the show.
In the final part of the show CJ is joined by John Riciardi and Shane Bettenhausen (with a brief invasion from Patrick Kelpek and Kathleen Sanders who are searching for Jeff Green). There isn’t alot of talk about the show during this discussion, instead the guys spend most of the time speculating on things like the success of Move and Kinect. They end things by talking about the future of the industry in general and discuss when they think the next gen will start.
This week! CJ is live from Penny Arcade Expo 2010 with guests Justin McElroy (of Joystiq), Chris Baker (of Marvel Entertainment), John Ricciardi (of 8-4) and Shane Bettenhausen (of Ignition Entertainment).
