Apple is trying to keep the Rebel FM down, and has caused computing difficulties again. The second half — or, as I like to call it, the best half — of the show is missing, making for an hour-long podcast.
Perhaps Steve Jobs’ disdain is due to Arthur’s alleged love of Microsoft. The Xbot — as trolls like to call him — has given a bad review to a PlayStation exclusive. The downloadable Top Gun game does sound bad though. He appreciates ideas in Kane and Lynch 2 more, but poor action lets it down. He has similar thoughts on Shank — a good game let down by its desire to show you how beautiful it is.
Next, Anthony and Matt gush over Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light — or “Laura” Croft, as they like to call it — before Anthony reports on Gamsecom.
In Germany, he saw Postal 3. The crass PC shooter is too vulgar even for his tastes. The high point was the exciting demo of Bioshock Infinte — or Skyoshock, as Shawn Elliot might like to call it. Lionheart: King’s Crusade is a PC strategy game set in the crusades. He also saw some Killzone 3 (with Move control), Dawn of War 2: Retribution, and Resistance 3.
