Tested seem to have come to the conclusion that bigger is better, as they’ve upped the amount of podcasters to four this week. Will and Norm are joined by Tested staffers Ana and Matt.
Matt’s had a quick play with Windows Phone 7 and reports back. It’s slick, clean, and better than Kin.
They discuss Apple’s patent of a new interface for iMacs. It’ll mix a touch screen with a keyboard and mouse. Will sounds doubtful of the applications this could have before they remember they shouldn’t have started the news segment yet.
They carry on talking about Blu-ray vs. downloads, the iPhone to-do app/game Epic Win, and the iPhone’s new Netlix app.
In the actual news segment, they test Gmail’s new free (to North America) phone service, talk about the fallacy of browsers’ “private” modes, and lament the lack of news. There will be more news next week when Apple have a big event, and Samsung will be detailing their iPad challenger.
Finally, they field a handful of questions about non-evil domain registrars, office chairs, and coffee.
