The shows starts with another candy tasting, and the two candies at play garner disparate opinions. After some discussion about Matt Leone’s currently in progress “road trip,” Mike mention the double Game Night events happening this week.
Alice is filling the fourth chair this week and she talks about the current Xbox 360S contest, of which there will be at least a few more. Travis takes some time to talk about StarCraft 2 again since he finished the campaign. He has a lot of nice things to say, but can’t get over the adequate story’s horrible dialog.
Voicemails yield some off-the-wall topics before the group turn to discuss the idea of the “movie bucket.” This sounds like a great way for couples to compromise on their movie choices. The aftershow has Mike Nelson discussing his B review of Mafia II. While he enjoyed the game, the open world structure felt out of place for him. He also stresses how beautiful the city is– multiple times.
Alice joins Jade, Mike, and Travis this week to discuss 1UP’s Cross Country Road Trip and bad writing in StarCraft II. A few listener calls liven things up, and Final Notes closes things out with a couple of British comedy recommendations.
