Even though I’m a couple weeks late due to poor living conditions and yes, pure laziness, Happy 5th Anniversary to DGR! Here’s to 5 more years if your livers last that long.
Moe is out this week so friend of the show RykerXL fills in quite seamlessly. A shorter than usual show kicks off as always with Drunk Dials and the mailbag. John and Hilden take the time to remind listeners about the Deathsmiles contest they have going on that they have received no entries for so far. A short games segment this week features City Builder for the Wii which the guys thought was going to be Sim City-lite, but turned out to be very constricting and limited at best. The random retro review this week is Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero, which they completely dismantle (with good reason, that game was terrible).
Five Things is up next starting things off with Bioshock 2 DLC that focuses on the single player experience. Two game announcements in Batman: Arkham City and Torchlight II have the guys tossing their money in already. As much as they admittedly bag on it, the news that Kinect will be able to recognize sign language seems to momentarily melt their hearts before they quickly go back to trashing it.
