After a delayed absence (my fault) coverage of the Giant Bombcast resumes with spiders and strategy! The guys spend much of the beginning of the show cowering from a spider that has made itself welcome in the studio, except for Ryan who takes every opportunity to mock the other three. Starcraft II talk dominate the conversation with Vinny taking a slight deviation back to the original Starcraft. Jeff and Brad spent a very short time with Monday Night Combat and seem mixed thus far but Ryan seems much higher on Civ 5 from the 16 hours he has sunk into it. To round out the strategy talk, Ryan and Brad share their indifference with R.U.S.E.
A busy week in news for a change is lead of with a discussion on NBA Jam coming to 360 and PS3 which is apparently happening in some form, which I don’t completely understand. The announcement of Batman: Arkham City audibly breaks the hearts of the Bombcast crew, who were obviously hoping for the name Batman Batman Batman. Pokemon and DLC talk round out news. New releases, Jeff Gerstmann performance digital downloads, and emails round out the show this week with an extended discussion on the dichotomy of Blizzard and Activision.
Covered games and topics: spiders, Starcraft II, Monday Night Combat, Kinect, Civ 5, Scottie Pippen, Batman Batman Batman, Pokemans
Arachnophobia rears its ugly, murderous head this week, and yet we soldier on with discussions of NBA Jam, Batman, Pokemon, and of course, StarCraft, StarCraft, StarCraft.
