The Other Guys is the movie this week on TRS, while all 3 enjoyed it to a certain extent they definetly had their issues with it. Some of the comedy fell a little flat, Dan and Alex also comment that they are ready for Will Ferral to step up his comedy beyond his same old schtick. The guys also discuss two upcoming movies, both titled Gravity. The first is from director Alfonso Cuarón and will star Robert Downey Jr, while the second will be directed by Louis Leterrier and will evolve Earth in zero g. They discuss which film most appeals to them Cuaron’s gets more buzz with there being some skepticism about whether Leterrier’s film could be anything less than silly.
Ford sponsors the show this week and in a loosely related segment the guys get in a car given to them by Ford and go off to Hollywood to check out some famous locations from films. Nakatomi plaza from Die Hard and the amusements from Karate Kid‘s date scene are the highlights.
A couple of weeks behind but the TRS crew had to talk about Limbo on the show. It’s universal praise from all 3 guys, with Jeff calling the game a masterpiece. From visual to audio design there isn’t anything they don’t think was perfectly executed. A unique game with a story that could only be told through an interactive medium like video games is the final verdict from the TRS guys.
Is Will Ferrell still funny as one of The Other Guys? We take a look at a magnificent little Xbox Live Arcade game called Limbo. Plus, we take the Ford Fiesta for a spin and tour movie filming locations around Los Angeles!
