It’s a short, and somewhat loopy, show this week. We start with some podcast talk and Erik enlightens us about the Nicholson Baker podcast and article that was discussed on this week’s The Idle Thumbs Podcast. We also briefly mention the latest Engadget Show with Peter Molyneux.
Word of no Kinect support for Fable III at launch starts the game talk, and we move on to Civ V and the announcement of Torchlight II. Tech starts with a few tidbits about Windows Phone 7 apps, and Jon and I attempt to give an overview of the Google and Verizon Net Neutrality push, but we fail miserably (See Nilay Patel’s piece on Engadget for a better explanation).
A few movie tangents, an announcement that we are looking for new writers, and some ridiculous asides end the show.
Covered topics and games: Idle Thumbs, No Kinect in Fable III, Civilization V, Torchlight II, Windows Phone 7 apps, Google and Verizon’s Net Neutrality push, movies
