Garnett start the show this week trying to talk about Sin and Punishment, but Jeff and and Brian aren’t having it and demand that he talk about Civilization V after spending a week with it. He has a lot to say about the game, and it sounds like a lot of changes have been implemented for the better. StarCraft 2 also gets another chunk of time with Brian regaling the crew with of few stories from his multiplayers romps. Garnett finishes the Whatcha’ Been Playin segment with Madden 11.
The Warning yields a few interesting discussion starting with one about why developers challenge current genre-definiing games. The guys also talk about a Gamasutra article that revealed that Activision has abandoned female leads in their game due to sales numbers of the past year’s games.
