Here it is, our first non-traditional, topic-specific podcast. This one is all about Inception. We spend 50+ minutes talking about why we loved Christopher Nolan’s latest. Spoilers abound, so if you have yet to see the film, give this one a pass until you have.
We cover our overall impressions, theories about the continuity of the story, minute details of specific scenes, and much more.
This is a new thing for us, and we had a lot of fun doing it. If you enjoy this, by all means, please let us know in the comments as we would love to do more of these if people like it.

This podcast was the bomb. After watching this movie, I feel like I needed this for therapy. I'm actually with the first person's opion of it being 1 dream. The African chase scene, totem continually spinning at the end, seem to make this obvious. I love the idea that Mal is actually the correct one when she jumped. But all the confusion ultimately ties into Nolan's "message" that Cobb was happy in whatever reality he was in at the end.
Ryan – We're glad you enjoyed it, it was certainly a lot of fun to record. While I'm starting to second guess some of the production aspects of the movie, I think the most important thing about it is that it actually made people excited to think and talk about it.
And, just to add one more kicker (in case this hasn't been noticed), there's some interesting cues in the soundtrack: http://www.avclub.com/articles/great-job-internet…
This was a good listen. This coupled with seeing the film twice helps not to understand it more, but to help me devise my own thoughts and feelings about what Nolan was trying to deliver.
great job guys! I feel like some of the stranger points, I'd just chalk up to "It just a movie" but as for the main threads of the movie, yous got me thinking…which in turn got my friends thinking. Unfortunately there aren't too many other movies this year that will require a podcast like this…but hey, this format would be great for AAA games (ie Red Dead Redemption)
I second the Red Dead recommendation.
That's a pretty good idea, we'll look into it. Especially since I only see about two new movies a year, so it'll be hard for us to do this for just films.
Good job guys. After watching it twice, I felt more confused not less. If theory has flaws and the crazier theories are great to ponder.
I enjoyed the podcast. I hope you decide to do more of this kind of thing.
