Game Scoop! Podcast: Comic-Con Preview

by Jon Cole in GamesJuly 18th, 2010 @ 2:57 pm
Game Scoop!

It’s Game Scoop!’s fourth birthday and a loving listener compiled some fascinating data regarding the history of this podcast, namely the amount of times each person has been on the show and what their debut episodes were.  After wistfully delving into those numbers, Greg talks a little bit about his experience with Hulu Plus, which he’s been more impressed with than the janky, disc-required PS3 Netflix experience.  The guys somehow talk about Buffy, Angel, and Lost before Greg talks about his Comic-Con plans.

Daemon and Hilary got a chance to play Limbo, which is apparently a pretty fun puzzler that has a few difficult levels that might trip up the more casual folk.  On the topic of downloadable games, Kristine talks a little bit about Deathspank, which she’s clearly been enjoying.  Knockin’ Boots is up next and listener mail closes out the show as always.

Welcome back to Game Scoop!, your weekly dose of gaming news and massive LOLZ. Your shepherds this week will be Daemon Hatfield, Greg Miller, Hilary Goldstein, Kristine Steimer, and Ryan Geddes. Happy Birthday to us! It’s Game Scoop!’s fourth birthday. We grow up so fast.

On tap this week:

Hilary, Greg, and Daemon are headed to Comic-Con next week. For once, Daemon will be living the Greg Miller lifestyle.

Greg has been trying out Hulu on his PS3.

Mafia II will have exclusive content on PS3.

Kristine loved DeathSpank and Daemon loved Limbo.

Boots will be knocked: Should your girlfriend care if you want to watch porn?

Plus we answer a bunch of listener mail about Dungeons and Dragons, cats, and our favorite vegetables. Don’t forget, we’re available on iTunes. Remember to rate the show while you’re there.
