A day late due to the holiday, but a bit of Transformers talk starts the pre-show. After the opening theme Alan addresses the response to the call for MyCheats freelances, and it sounds like most of them were garbage. Kids these days…
The crew touches on Red Dead Redemption and Game Night with Crackdown 2, and then moves on to Tournament of Legends, which involves gladiators. He wasn’t able to give it a try due to the Wii’s inability to connect to wifi, but is intent on getting it to work. The crew then moves on to voicemails where a listener pitches a movie about the cross-breading of humans and manatees titled, “Humanitee.” Alan also declares Pixar’s Up as a “5/5, A punch in the balls.”
The Final Notes section has the group talking about Westerns, and the aftershow has Mike Nelson touching on an ill-conceived reader feedback email.
After a little Transformer talk, Alan clarifies some details about applying for a MyCheats freelancer position. Mike tries to play Tournament of Legends and is excited that the game has a hawkman in it. The crew answer some listener phone calls and close out with book and movie recommendations.
