Now that E3 is over, the Giant Bombcast can get back to it’s regularly scheduled programming…almost. After 9 hours of podcasting last week, the guys wonder amongst themselves why exactly they are still recording and seem to be even more baffled that there is still a lot they have not discussed. That being said, most of the podcast is taken up by events of the last day of E3.
Before getting into personal favorites, the guys discuss the positive impacts that X-COM and Super Scribblenauts made on them. Brad and Jeff then proceed to gush over the new Mortal Kombat game, which sounds like a real return to the roots. Brad moves into talking about Infamous 2, which he seems fairly excited about. Jeff chimes back in with his latest experience with Marvel vs. Capcom 3, which he is liking much more than the last time he saw it. Brad closes out most of the game talk by trying to explain thatgamecompany’s latest game, Journey, which he fails miserably at.
The news section is obviously left off the show this week and things wrap up with a slightly shorter than usual new releases and emails section.
Covered games and topics: E3 2010, X-COM, Super Scribblenauts, Mortal Kombat, EVO, Infamous 2, MvC3, Dead Rising 2, Journey, motion control
We return to our regularly scheduled Bombcast with a little E3 wrap-up. Jeff and Brad indulge their compulsive Mortal Kombat needs, Ryan considers Kinect achievements, and Vinny keeps the Bombcast blue!
