Game Scoop! Podcast: Metal Gear Robs the Cradle

by Jonathan Downin in GamesJune 11th, 2010 @ 11:10 pm
Game Scoop!

It’s a packed episode this week. Greg kicks things off with a crazy dream story. Daemon then gets into Rock Band 3 before Greg shares his love for the latest Metal Gear. He gave it a 9.5 and this leads in an argument with Nate about the state of PSP and its purpose for existence.

The embargo is up and the guys share about what they saw of Deus Ex: Human Revolution a few weeks ago. A funny story comes out of it about an over-the-phone explanation of how the game’s use of black and gold results in a game that looks like nothing else out there.

The guys hit on the delay of Portal 2, DJ Hero, and the recent MK trailers before heading into Knockin’ Boots and a lengthy email section to finish the show.

Covered topics and games: Greg’s A-Team dream, Rock Band 3, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, PSP’s worth, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, X-Com, Valve, DJ Hero 2, Mortal Kombat, Knockin’ Boots, emails

We can finally tell you all about Rock Band 3 and DJ Hero 2.

Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker is here. It’s the creepy old man of the Metal Gear games.

Charles has the scoop on Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

The guys at Valve are pretty much the meanest guys ever.

There’s a new 2D Mortal Kombat on the way.

Boots will be knocked: How to deal with an intimidating, more experienced woman.
