It’s all about the iPhone 4 this week. The guys start by providing an overview of what is new and some overall impressions, then delve into the new “retina display.” Paul hasn’t been shy about his love for devices with good pixel density, and he is all over this. He is even dubbed “Paul the Pixel Density Expert.” He argues that sharper text is preferred over leverage of the resolution to display more information, but Josh isn’t happy at this prospect.
Josh is the only one who actually got his hands on the new phone and he is trying his hardest to not gush over it. He says the screen is gorgeous and the new design feels very sleek in a retro sort of way. None of the guys seem to be worried about potential fragmentation since from almost everything they have heard, most people who currently own iPhones plan to upgrade.
The cast ends with some feelings about the EVO versus the iPhone 4.
