It’s a four man, and one man’s best friend podcast this week — Anthony, Arthur, Matt, Tyler, and Arthur’s puppy come together to talk about games and scare cats.
Tyler and Matt have tried Red Dead Redemption’s multiplayer, which they have mixed feelings on. Matt doesn’t think there’s a lot to do in free room, but Tyler appreciates the way auto-aim feels. Arthur didn’t like Red Dead Redemption for the same reasons he’s not a fan of Grand Theft Auto — the controls are clumsy and the story is unfocussed.
What’s Arthur been playing instead? He’s returned to Dead Space and is still terrified of it. He has a long list of things he hates about Alpha Protocol — a spy RPG that has a similar conversation system to Mass Effect but inferior action. He’s also seen a few games for preview features, including F.E.A.R. 3, which has a way to go before its graphics are acceptable.
Matt has been playing a Japanese Xbox Live Indie Game. From his description, it looks like he’s talking about Protect Me Knight. It’s an 8-bit action RPG he says is similar to Zelda but can be played co-operatively.
Anthony reviewed Voodoo Dice and went with the subtitle, More Like Doodoo Dice. He sounds more enthusiastic about Blur though, even that is not without significant problems.
Rebel FM ends with relationship letters. Arthur’s dog does not appreciate the lack of games talk and derails the podcast abruptly.
Covered topics: Red Dead Redemption multiplayer, Dead Space, Alpha Protocol, F.E.A.R. 3, Protect Me Knight, Voodoo Dice, Blur.
This week we’re reunited in time for a borderline disaster of a show, as we try to discuss FEAR 3, Red Dead Redemption, Blur, Dead Space (the first) and several more, before being completely derailed by catastrophe on four legs. Adorable, adorable catastrophe.

Oh man last week`s episode without Arthur was so great. Is there any game besides Halo, MW and Red Faction…that Arthur likes?
Haha,
I stopped listing to this podcast long ago and now I see I was right.
It's good to have some disagreement on a podcast. As a British person, complaining is a hobby of mine so I appreciate Arthur.
Word. I much prefer to hear good arguments on podcasts over total agreement all the time. Thats why I fell in love when 1Up Yours was Garnett, John, Shane and Luke. Those guys had the most entertaining arguments.
Weekend confirmed has the right amount of disagreement for me. This podcast is way to microsoft centric anyways.
Cheerio !
