4 Guys 1UP

Ray is back in the hosting seat. Even though last week was supposed to be the last of the experiments, this episode still seems to be in that zone. Ray does seem to handle it better than anyone else though.

Quick Killzone 3 impressions start the cast and then the group moves on to Call of Duty: Black Ops, which everyone seems pretty hopeful for. Even though Alpha Protocol has been almost universally receiving middling reviews, Sharkey gave it a surprising B+ in his review and the whole group is pretty high on the game.

Word of Insomiac going to mulit-platform development starts the news. THQ is starting an EA Partners-like publishing arm and Rock Band 3 will have keytar support. The man behind the Xbox, J Allard is leaving Microsoft, but really, if you want the full J Allard experience, listen to this week’s Giant Bombcast. The cast ends with Rays excitement for the DS bound Sonic Colors, and the possibilities of a premium PSN announcement at E3 and Project Natal coming in at $149 with the name “Wave.”

Covered games and topics: Killzone 3, CoD Black Ops, Alpha Protocol, F.E.A.R. 3, Lara Croft, Kane and Lynch 2, Insomniac xbox, THQ partners, Rock Band, J Allard letter, Ubisoft Toronto, Sonic Colors, premium PSN, Natal -> Wave,

Ray, Matt Leone, Scooter and Sharkey break down the past week’s big previews with Killzone 3, Call of Duty: Black Ops, and F3AR, among others, and then another huge rundown in the news segment, where we go over Insomniac joining forces with EA, Microsoft execs leaving, PlayStation Network rumors, Rock Band 3, and yes, even Sonic Colors.

Runtime – 1:32:59
