I apologize for missing the summary of DGR last week but man, this week’s show is something else. The show starts off as usual with Drunk Dials and the mailbag. The first game up for review is Strategery for the iPhone, which seems to be a fast-paced game of Risk. RayStorm HD for the XBLA is up next which sounds like a great remake of a classic shooter, but John doesn’t feel like it is worth the money. Picross 3D for the DS is the third game this week, and the opinion in the DGR studio is that this is a great extension on the proven formula. The random retro review is Power Rangers for the Genesis which doesn’t seem worth mentioning.
The feature presentation this week features the entries for DGR’s Mass Effect contest with listeners creating their own alien race and describing how they would mate with them. I’ll just say this…there are some very creative and very disturbed people out there. Five Things wraps up the show as always with discussions on Iron Man 2, Starcraft 2, Wii Party and of course, top picks.
