This week’s Giant Bombcast has a couple of guests and starts off living up to the name of the show. Alex Navarro and Matt Rorie are there to announce that they have become part of the Whiskey Media family and will be a part of the new movie site Screened. Vinny brings things back to reality by saying how playing Wheelman sucked all the energy out of him, but turns it around by discussing his time with Ryan at Pixar. Jeff recently reviewed Skate 3 and seems to enjoy it, although he feels it may be more for hardcore Skate series fans. Brad runs through the problems he is having with Lost Planet 2, namely the whole game.
News begins this week with the announcement that EA Sports games will now have to be purchased new in order to be played online or consumers will be forced to pay a $10 fee. This news leads to a fairly long diatribe of the state of game pricing, privacy, and used games. Back on track, the recently announce Little Big Planet 2 with new game modes seems to excite everyone. New confirmed characters for Marvel vs. Capcom 3 makes the guys pine for some time with the game or at least something more visual. New releases (including some hilarious rants) and emails close out the show.
