The guys are back for a shorter show this time around. Word of Bungie signing up with Activision has the crew reasonably perplexed at the beginning before Chris and Steve discuss their mildly successful time with Splinter Cell Conviction. While it certainly doesn’t sound like it will be a thumbs favorite, it seems there was some fun to be had. Also, any game that results in the discussion here about incidents at the Lincoln Memorial deserves to exist.
Chris is still playing StarCraft II, and he had a chance to go to Blizzard and check out a bit of the game that is not currently in the beta. It sounds like Blizzard is offering a good way for people to learn the multiplayer ropes through some tutorials of sorts.
An email at the has the guys discussing Deadly Premonition, but it doesn’t sound like they’ve given it much time.
Note: According to Chris’s twitter, he is on vacation for the next couple weeks so it may be another few weeks before the next Thumbs.
Covered games: Bungie+Activision, Splinter Cell Conviction, StarCraft II, Deadly Premonition
A minicast of rambling awaits you within. Activision continues to cut its baffling path through the industry, as Chris and Steve discover that an enemy never forgets. With special guest star Video Games.

My ZuneHD has apparently become sentient (and gone a little crazy) and replaced three of my most-listened to songs with random clips from this episode. While I'm a little worried about the state of my device, I can't say I mind the change very much.
