This week’s show starts off with the news that DGR will soon be selling not only the complete 3 year saga of the Shmopera, but 3 posters representing each year as well and boy, are they pretty from the previews they have shown. On to the show as listeners new and old share their anger and drunkenness through voicemails and emails. We Rule starts up the game talk this week and Hilden is completely addicted (are a few of the staff here). Next up is Beat Hazard which uses your own music and John had a good time importing the Shmopera and recommends it as it was so cheap. Afterburner Climax is the third game up for review and sounds great if you liked the original.
The random retro review is Tiny Toons for the Genesis, which is apparently a complete rip-off of Sonic, but a fairly good one. This week’s Feature Presentation has the guys sharing some of their favorite PS2 games that many people may have passed over, a few of which I’ve been meaning to check out for a while. Five Things closes things out with discussions on Atari, Sega layoffs, Capcom, and the ever-entertaining “Get A Life” segment.
