Things kick off this week with the guys discussing whether Gordon Ramsay should be added to their list of enemies of food. Following on from the bad CGW covers feature is an upcoming bad EGM covers feature, Mike shares some stories about why he personally isn’t a fan of some of the covers.

Checking in for some gaming updates immediately gets sidetracked by Mike wondering why Pikachu never evolved into Raichu on the Pokemon anime. Jade surprisingly knows the answer and informs everyone about an episode which focused on the very question. Movies is the next topic up with Jade and Alan having recently seen Clash of the Titans and Kick-Ass respectively, they have mixed feelings on both.

Alan has been using his iPad mostly as a comic reader, so he takes the opportunity to comment on and recommend some comics he has been reading lately. As is the norm with at1UP this leads to a more general nostalgic discussion of comics with some pondering as to what happened to the Hulk of old. Just when did he become a huge beast? The comic discussions continue in the after-segment as new 1UP news editor Frank Cifaldi joins the show to introduce himself.

The crew open with a couple of messages from listeners before diving into a discussion about bad EGM covers and Game Night scrotalities (that’s right, scrotum fatalities). Then some gaming talk covers Pokémon, Miles Edgeworth, and Super Street Fighter IV. Movies leads into a discussion about comics, which leads to a…CONTEST! Check out this episode’s show notes.

Neither at1up nor the new oddcast will download for me. It would seem the links are broken.
