Scott Bromley returns again this week and sits in for the missing Brian Miggles. After some very random but hilarious Doug Funnie references, Ryan talks about his time with 3D Dot Game Heroes, which he explains constantly toes the line with being an “homage” to the original legend of Zelda. In normal Gamespy fashion, the conversation then takes a couple of left turns into the strange design of the Gamecube, followed up somehow by the hierarchy at furry conventions. Anthony tries to bring things back by talking quickly about After Burner Climax which leads off into another story about how an arcade cabinet in the office nearly caught fire.
Anthony queues up some emails, including one about a 4th of July mishap involving a couple hundred sparklers. Everyone then shares their amateur fireworks activities from when they were growing up. Anthony asking for games other people have been playing leaves the door open for Ryan Scott to talk about griefing new players in League of Legends. The show wraps up with some tales of schoolyard fights, as well as some more recent ones.
Covered games and topics: 3D Dot Game Heroes, furries, After Burner, League of Legends, fireworks, fights, love advice
This week, we went into the podcast room with a mission, which was quickly derailed, because missions are for babies. This week’s show is minus one Brian Miggels, but it’s thankfully saved by the return of Internet favorite Scott Bromley. Remember, Internet, if you complain loud enough, we’ll just stomp on your toe when it’s hurt! Enjoy!
