TRL starts with a whole lot of Halo: Reach talk this week. Charles had a chance to get a sneak peek at the multiplayer beta which is due for public consumption on May 3rd, and he has plenty of details to share. Hilary and crew are especially excited about the addition of jetpacks to the game.
Capcom’s recent event in Hawaii, Captivate 2010, then takes center stage with Marvel vs. Capcom 3. The crew aren’t too excited about the latest cross-over fighter, and quickly get into Dead Rising 2 which they say looks really rough. Word of Bionic Commando Re-Armed 2 finishes the Capcom talk.
There is still about 30 minutes of show at the point the group completely loses it. This is a level of absurdity that even TRL rarely hits, so if you are going to stick around, know what you are getting into.
Game Scoop!’s Daemon Hatfield steps in to guest host Three Red Lights this week. He is joined by Hilary Goldstein, Charles Onyett, and Ryan Geddes to chat about Halo: Reach, Capcom’s Captivate event, and exactly what a sharktopus would look like.
