This week’s “Three Nerdy White Guys” podcast (working title) starts off with some MMO talk, unsurprisingly. Higgins shares some of his opinions on the recently introduced mounts to World of Warcraft and his plans for the Cataclysm release. Games talk wraps up with Ryan’s impressions of 3D Dot Game Heroes, which he describes as Zelda with the serial number filed off. Ultimately, he concludes that the self-referential elements are entertaining though he wishes it wasn’t exclusive to the PS3.
Listener mail takes up a large part of the second half of the show, hitting on Karen’s apparent contempt for a podcast, the ever-raging Battletoads debate and both Ryans’ hate for Mark Millar’s Kick-Ass. Finally, Ryan acknowledges the fact that fans want Lost spoilers at the end of the podcast, so things wrap up with a solid segment discussing last week’s episode.
