Deadly Premonition continues to pick up steam. The guys dub it as having an almost cult status, and with the current Endurance Run going on over at Giant Bomb, they may be right. Justin has been playing indie developer, Jason Rohrer’s, Sleep is Death and to say he is enjoying the game would be a huge understatement. It sounds like a completely unique take on storytelling and multiplayer. You can grab it for $14 on the Sleep is Death site.

Justin and Ludwig have been playing Splinter Cell Conviction and the opinions are somewhat mixed. Justin mentions it in his review, and they feel like the game feels somewhat bare-bones and is it simply sets the player up for success in a way the removes a lot of the tention. Final Fantasy XIII is back in the conversation and it continues to not fare too well.

The guys hit news of a new XCOM, word of a new Silent Hill, and the formation of Respawn Entertainment. The show end with emails and Justin touches on his new advice podcast My Brother, My Brother and Me.

Covered games and topics: Deadly Premonition, Sleep is Death, Splinter Cell Conviction, FF XIII, XCOM, new Silent Hill, Respawn Entertainment, emails

With the speed at which the world changes these days, it’s nice when things stay the same, isn’t it? Chris and Ludwig are still talking about Final Fantasy XIII and Justin is still being needlessly hostile about it. We’ve still got emails, we’ve still got news. Justin awkwardly works in references to MBMBAM. It’s almost haunting in its predictability.
