First off, congrats to John on the birth of his son! Drunk Dials and emails start of the show like always with messages from some of the regulars. First up in the reviews segment this week is Game & Watch Collection 2 for the Nintendo DS which John doesn’t care for all that much. Another Club Nintendo exclusive is Grill-Off for WiiWare, which I barely understood anything about. Next up is a product review for the Hitmaster speaker/monitor which all three guys seem to really recommend for sound junkies with some extra money to spend. Last is Espgaluda 2 for the iPhone and John and Hilden agree that this very well could be one of the best games on the iPhone. The retro review this week is Home Alone 2 which sounds like utter garbage.
The Feature Presentation this week Hilden gushing over the iPad. While I’ve never been an Apple guy myself, the iPad, if you have you money to spend, sounds like a great addition to everyday life. Gaming on the iPad, for what it is, also seems like it could be a lot of fun. Five things closes the show out with discussions on Rush’N Attack: Ex-Patriot, Splatterhouse, cloud-based game saves, and NERDS.
