At the top of this week’s show, Karen talks a little bit about a podcast she’s recently started listening to, Jordan Jesse Go, and the strange debacle with Penny Arcade’s Mike and Jerry that earned a lot of frustration in the podcasting community. On a completely unrelated note, Ryan talks a little bit about his recent viewing of Clash of the Titans, which he essentially boils down to a series of ridiculous setpieces designed to be chopped up for a sweet trailer.
The recent trailers for The Losers and The A-Team inspires a little bit of love for caper movies, specifically bringing about nostalgia for the Oceans franchise. Karen got a chance to check out the Scott Pilgrim comics in anticipation of the upcoming film and Higgins helps bring a little bit of context to her analysis. After reading the first two issues, she’d rate the comic series two Gabrielle Anwars out of ten (or 8/10 for those of you who aren’t too familiar with the scale).
To add a tiny bit of video game talk relatively short show, Ryan talks about a recent Konami press conference featuring Def Jam All-Star, Rocket Knight Adventures, Saw 2, Lucha Libre, and Russian Attack Ex-Patriot. Finally catching onto how to strategically time spoiler segments, Lost discussion closes out this episode.

I'm a fan of both 'Jordan, Jesse, Go' and 'Penny Arcade' and I thought this whole thing got off on a bad foot from Penny Arcade's initial post, which was pretty vitriolic. I didn't know the episode was actually posted and I'm interested to check it out and see how bad it actually went.
It's appropriate that the Geekbox kicked this off because I can't find the mp3 available online, so I'm downloading a torrent for the first time in probably three years…to listen to a lost podcast…featuring two webcomics.
