Jeff and Brad are back this week from various events before setting back off later this week. Vinny starts off the conversation with a little Game Room talk before the rest of the guys quickly commandeer it with some talk of high level retro game action. Ryan and Vinny went to see Ghost Recon: Future Soldier last week which Ryan says is more of a third person cover-based shooter with some sci-fi elements. Jeff moves on to discuss his experience with Splinter Cell: Conviction, which he says is the most approachable game in the series. Also, Ryan is now $50 richer as the game does not include night vision goggles. Jeff and Ryan also discuss some of the games they saw at a Konami event last week. Brad quickly chimes in with his visit to the east coast recently to see Crysis 2 which he doesn’t seem all that high on as of this point.
News starts off with discussion of the recently announcement of Gears of War 3, although the Bombcast was recorded just before the official announcement was made so they do not have all the information we do now. Pokemon Black and White take center stage and Jeff and Ryan agree that there needs to be a change in the series at this point. The forming of Respawn Entertainment takes up most of the rest of the show. Releases and emails close things out.
