Ricardo’s Wondercon experience is up first this week before the crew moves onto iPad discussion. No one is too excited about Apple’s latest portable, but they do run down some of the games. Mirror’s Edge gets pointed out as the right approach to these kind of games and then the conversation moves on to a potential controller peripheral for the iPhone.

Cliff Bleszinski will appear on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on Thursday to make a big game announcement. Everyone is in agreement, it has to be Gears od War 3. The only question now is will it come out this year. Kevin gets into The Settlers 7 and it is burdened by the same Ubisoft DRM scheme as Assassin’s Creed II.

A ton of voice emails and homework submissions regarding names for game phenomena finish the show.

Covered games and topics: Wondercon, iPad, Conduit 2, Jimmy Fallon Cliff Bleszinski, Settlers 7, voice/emails, homework

Kevin VanOrd, Ricardo Torres, Tom Mc Shea, and Brendan Sinclair take a bite out of Apple’s iPad, The Conduit 2, and Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions. Then it’s time to ponder Epic Games’ mystery announcement, pour an O’Douls out for the developers of Iron Man 2, and get back on the road again with Big Rigs.
