We get a double-dose of Whatcha been playin’ this week with Super Street Fighter 4 up first, followed by Jeff revisiting his Just Cause 2 opinions from last week. Heavy Rain leads into some discussion about how Alan Wake compares to David Cage’s “non-game.” Comparisons in approaches to the story-telling in Mass Effect 2 and Dragon Age finish the game section.
4 Minute Warning is back and Jeff takes the opportunity to share his excitement about the eminent iPad release. The guys don’t get too deep into the potential gaming to be had on the new device, but Jeff will have his in studio next week so look for a lot more coverage then. Talk about game writing leads in speculation on the Nintendo 3DS and the PSP 2.
Brian airs his concerns over the PS3′s continual loss of features before Garnett gets into the relaunch of EGM, which the crew is hopeful about. Gears of War 3 is almost confirmed with Cliff Bleszinski scheduled to appear on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on April 8th. Modern Warfare 2 Stimulus Package woes close-out the show.
