It’s all about PAX East at the beginning of this week’s 4 Guys 1UP yet-to-be-re-named flagship 1UP podcast. The attempted theft of Breach code is the first PAX-related topic and then the group moves on to discuss their overall impressions of PAX. It’s safe to say that they were impressed by the show, and the attendance. APB, Limbo, Hydrophobia, Prince of Persia and many others get some discussion time.
The middle section is all about the Nintendo 3DS and DS XL. Even after the exhaustive discussion about the forthcoming handeld last week, the group still has more to say. This is followed by a discussion about the iPad. Everyone was caught somewhat off-guard by the sudden glut of game reveals and feel like this will probably be a very important gaming platform.
A bit of apathy about Super Mario Galaxy 2 leads in an interview with Q Games‘ Dylan Cuthbert in which he discusses the studio’s Pixel Junk series, his history in the industry and branching-out to DS development.
