Podcast Beyond

Just like the TRL crew, the first topic here is the new office. Not everyone is happy though with Sam complaining about his desk being positioned right in front of a second kitchen area and the lack of high cubicle walls.

Killzone 3 has been confirmed by none other than Jack Tretton and he says to expect an killer E3 showing this year. God of War 3 has not caught the heart of Jessica and she explains why. The PS3 Greatest Hits lineup has expanded again with notable titles including inFamous, Kilzone 2 and LittleBigPlanet.

The group shares some thoughts about the Final Fantasy XIII voice acting before moving onto an extended discussion about the validity of 3D in games. The opinions are polarized with the main con being that it simply doesn’t offer anything worthwhile and that it is not more immersive. Emails finish the episode.

Covered games and topics:  New digs, Killzone 3, God of War 3, new greatest hits, releases, FFXIII, 3D, emails, Red Dead Redemption

GregRyanColin and (later) Sam are finally, at long last, joined by the unendingly lovely Jessica Chobot. It only took the crew 129 episodes to convince the Fix hostess to join the show, but it finally happened! On today’s Beyond, the team gets swept away in a heated debate regarding voice work in gaming. A perfect topic to christen the new IGN office with the majesty of Beyond.
