Much like the last time he made an appearance Robert Ashley has a pretty significant effect on the show, leading to some hilarious if occasionally disturbing moments. Tyler kicks the game discussion off by talking about God of War 3, his first foray into the series. He and everyone else on the show who has played have fairly mixed feelings. While they all agree to core mechanics are great they don’t think it holds up to the last game especially.
A discussion about Perfect Dark inevitably leads to a larger talk about Goldeneye. Also contained within is the revelation that Goldeneye/Perfect Dark could be played with two N64 controllers for dual analog controls. Robert also shares the story about why he was unable to actually play Perfect Dark when it came out first time round.
Before the letters segment, itself as diverse and outthere as usual, there are lots of tangents such as a somewhat interesting discussion about how the violence in games today would have effected the guys in their younger years had they had access to it.
