A five man cast this week so things are a little more raucous than usual, to the point that there are many things bleeped out. It makes for an entertaining show if nothing else. Now 343 Industries employee David Ellis kicks things off by recounting his 7+ hours with the Just Cause 2 demo. The demo has a 30 minute time limit so that goes some way to showing how much he is enjoying it. It’s a “great way to blow shit up” seems to be the take away.
God of War 3 causes some debate, while the opening is epic and visual stunning it seems the game fails to carry this through further than the first 40 minutes or so. That being said everyone who has played it is very impressed. Anthony and the others wonder what is going on with The Old Republic, BioWare have yet to show the actual “MMO” aspects of the game. What they have shown seems to be run of the mill aside from the KoToR lore attached and the voice acting.
Final Fantasy XIII continues to divide opinion, Ryan can’t even say whether he likes the game despite being many hours in. There is alot of debate about whether it’s ok for a game to take so long to “get good”, no one seems to think it is. This weeks listener question and emails close out the show as always, with some fairly out there responses to the latter.
Covered games and topics: Just Cause 2, God of War 3, Dead to Rights: Retribution, The Old Republic, Final Fantasy XIII, Redder, Dragon Age: Origins – Awakening

I haven't really been listening to the show, but has Chuff gotten funnier?
Yeah, I thoroughly enjoyed this episode and I usually don't care for this show.
