The Rebel FM infiltration of IGN is now complete. Anthony Gallegos is on Game Scoop! and with this comes news that he, along with Arthur, has transitioned over to the IGN mothership.
It’s a fast-paced show this week with rumors of USB storage being enable for the Xbox 360 via a spring dashboard update. While this would be a welcomed feature, Ryan is reasonably annoyed about the arbitrary 16Gb cap. This can only be due to Microsoft wanting to protect hard drive sales. Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition is out and this has the group pining for an old style RE game and Daemon shares some positive impressions about Perfect Dark XBLA.
Emails and Knockin’ Boots round out the show. The guyus also give some details about their PAX East plans that culminate in a meet and greet and Saturday, from 6pm to 9pm at Daisy Buchanan’s 240A Newbury Street. Be there, we will be.
Covered topics and games: USB storage to 360, RE5 Gold, Perfect Dark, emails
Welcome back to Game Scoop!, your weekly dose of gaming news and massive LOLZ. Your shepherds this week will be Daemon Hatfield, Greg Miller, Ryan Geddes, and newcomer Anthony Gallegos. It was a rough week here at IGN, to be sure, but one good thing to come out of it is we now have Anthony playing for our team.
Perfect Dark is back and it’s closer to perfection than ever.
Geddes will try to explain the Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition to you.
The Xbox 360 may finally be getting USB storage support.
Greg is just mad about a new PSP Mini called Age of Zombies.
Boots will be knocked: how to deal with an unstable and needy online girlfriend.
Plus we answer a bunch of reader mail about survival horror, review scores, and Pokewalkers. Don’t forget, we’re available on iTunes, along with episodes of Game Scoop! TV. Remember to rate the shows while you’re there.
