And the first Roper-less Podcast Beyond appears. Greg seems to be taking the helm from here on out and the crew addresses the Roper and layoff situation right off the bat. In usual Podcast Beyond fashion, the mood quickly picks up though and the regular hijinx ensue. This seems to just be how the Miller and co. handles difficult situation though, as anyone who listened to Game Scoop! episode 137 knows.
Green Day: Rock Band strikes the wrong cord with the Beyond crew and after a bit of meandering Ryan talks about his experience with Final Fantasy XIII. He was struck by the ApocalyPS3 and couldn’t finish the review in time to attend the launch party for the game. Luckily, Greg was able to make it and even squeaked-out an extremely abbreviated interview with the voice actor for Snow and Lightening.
The group discusses God of War III a bit before getting into GDC and PlayStation Move. The opinions of Move are definitely on the negative end of the spectrum with it being labeled as an almost complete copy of the Wii. The guys cover some emails, cover the Roper situation a bit more and then finish the show with emails.
Covered games and topics: Green Day Rock Band, FFXIII, FFXIII party interview, God of War III, PS Move, Roper and IGN, emails
Greg, Ryan, Colin and Sam are here after the mild madness of GDC to give you Beyond listeners another smashing show.
