Engadget Podcast

Get ready for some legal talk at the beginning of this one. Joshua and Nilay spend the first 25 minutes discussing some of the intricacies of Apples filings against HTC, and they are not holding back. Nilay puts his lawyering hat on and at one point asked Joshua to define the word “obvious.” There is some good stuff in here and both provide valid points.

Paul had a chance to see the newly announced TiVo Premiere a few days ago and he was not exactly blown away. The do agree that TiVo is still the best DVR around though, so if you can look past the lack of on demand programming from you cable provider, it will probably be a great product. Engadget also has a presence at CeBIT and the guys are excited about NVIDIA’s Ion 2 and Optimus technology.

The ApocalyPS3 gets a few comments before the group moves onto more Microsoft phone news, this time about the oft-rumored Pink Phone. The Palm OS 1.4 update and leaks of a BlackBerry slider close the show.
