Moe is out this week for undisclosed reasons, so Hilden and John have brought in two of their friends, Scott and John, who are working on this year’s Shmopera. Drunk Dials and emails start off the show and lead into a new contest for a prize submitted once again by a listener.
First up for review is the Xbox Indie game Shoot1UP which is only a buck and the guys find no reason why it shouldn’t be purchased. Next is Sonic & Sega All-Star Racing which John says is right up there with Mario Kart for him, which is big praise for anyone who was a fan of those games. Heavy Rain is the third game up for review this week and John tries not to stray too far into spoiler territory while describing how your actions affect the story. Hilden has the retro review which is Dungeon Explorer for the TG-16 which he describes as a great Gauntlet-style game.
Feature Presentation returns this week with an interview with Steve Lycett from Sumo Digital who developed Sonic & Sega All-Star Racing. It’s an interesting interview and Steve is very frank about how Mario Kart influenced the development. Five Things is the last segment of the show like usual starting off with talks of the Nintendo summit and the numerous release dates announced there. Closing things out the guys talk about what they have been playing.

I reviewed Shoot 1UP on Bitmob. That game is great for the price.
