It was Nintendos turn to show off games this week so it’s another packed show this week. Before that though Anthony talks about his time with the newest Borderlands DLC, The Secret Armory of General Knoxx. He has only played a couple of hours but it sounds like a substantial addition complete with new tiers of weapons to lust for. He has also been playing Miles Edgeworth and is loving it just as he has all the previous Ace Attorney games.
Tyler thinks Just Cause 2 could end up following a similar path to Assassins Creed, with the sequel delivering on everything the original promised. Anthony saw Sin & Punishment, Metroid and Mario at the recent Nintendo event, for whatever reason he doesn’t really give impressions on them. He does however give some interesting info on the mechanics, specifically for Metroid.
Tyler borrowed Arthur’s copy of Red Faction: Guerrilla, as he hadn’t played it last year, unsurprisingly he shares the universal love for the game. Arthur has been on a DLC kick, playing both the Resident Evil 5 and Assassins Creed 2 packs that came out last week. He doesn’t seem particularly impressed with either but has a hard time putting them down considering their very low prices. This weeks second segment topic is must play games of this generation, this and reader mail round out the show.
