The Oddcast

Epic Mickey could potentially come to PS3 and 360, this is the subject that kicks off this weeks episode. There is some debate about whether is looks like the N64 game Glover, Sharkey maintains it doesn’t but the others aren’t so sure.

Blizzard finally got the Starcraft II beta underway so alot of the 1UP crew have been playing it. Some units are gone but there are have also been additions to the roster, Tina found it odd to be playing Starcraft but have things like the elevation of units be a factor while playing.

The recession gaming games covered this week are the ever popular Canabalt and Great Dungeon in the Sky. Canabalt gets alot of love for its simplistic but addictive nature and excellent style. Sharkey seems more in love with the idea behind Great Dungeon in the Sky, a game which sees you unlock 300 characters by killing them as you play.

Covered games and topics: Epic Mickey, Starcraft II, Dishwasher 2, Great Dungeon in the Sky, Canabalt, community

On this episode, we talk about the StarCraft II beta, our hopes for more news on Dishwasher 2, and of course, Sharkey’s Recession Gaming segment. Due to lack of an ability to edit podcasts (ahem, TINA), this is going up after Mike Cruz came back from vacation! Sorry for the delay!
