In the past the TRS guys suggested Benicio Del Toro could be a real life wolfman but that doesn’t seem to have been transferred to the screen. Disappointment all round for The Wolfman, the style of the film gets the most praise with the guys enjoying the old school vibe. There’s some excitement at the prospect of Darren Aronofsky remaking Robocop. While they aren’t fans of the remake heavy climate there is some hope that Aronofsky could bring something interesting to the story of Robocop.
God of War with extra boobs is how the review of Dante’s Inferno starts off. No one seems especially impressed but feelings are mostly positive. Alex is really excited about Star Trek Online, which the guys have been playing since it launched. Dan goes a tad overboard going as far as calling it the “best MMO ever made”, he also makes mention of the games score which he is equally high on. Jeff continues the positive feeling although he does criticise the game for not having a very robust tutorial system.
Despite exclaiming that the section would be nothing but spoilers the discussion of Lost ends up being a fairly vague affair. Jeff and Dan are really pleased with the opening episodes although Jeff things the season is off to a slow start. Alex on the other hand is really disappointed, one of his main gripes being a lack of answers. The guys share some personal TV picks and read a viewer mail to close out the show.
Does The Wolfman live up to the legend? Is a RoboCop reboot such a good idea? Boobs + gore = a perfect combination for Dante’s Inferno? Star Trek Online finally enters the MMO world. And Lost is almost over for good – we talk about the beginning of the end!
