Engadget Podcast 183: MWC Preview – 02.13.2010

Mobile World Congress starts on Monday with the Microsoft Press Conference, and that means no Topolsky on the show this week. Nilay attempts to fill the rather large shoes of Joshua, but it just isn’t the same.

Engadget recently procured a Dell Mini 5 from China and they share some of their impressions to start things off and the opinions are positive all around. Motorola announced over Twitter than Android 2.1 would be coming to the Droid last week, but that didn’t happen. Nokia also announced that they will be doing something with Intel at MWC and the guys speculate on what that might be.

Rumors of Windows Mobile 7 have the guys excited and it is almost certain that have something big to reveal on Monday. Speculation is rampant and the consensus seems to be a device and platform built around Zune with a possible lack of multitasking. Musings on the ‘meat stylus‘ phenomena in South Korea leads into an attempted Topolsky-esk sign-off from Nilay. Rock and roll.

As a big chunk of Team Engadget makes its way around the nooks and crannies of Barcelona, we have this zinger of a podcast for you. Full of insights about the very near future, there is simply no better place to learn about what will probably happen in the next few days at Mobile World Congress than Engadget Podcast 183. Enjoy!
