While many podcasts have focused on Microsoft’s X10 event, Game Scoop! starts with NPDs this week. Mass Effect 2 had very strong initial sales, but other games seem to have lost out to BioWare’s latest– except for Just Dance.
X10 does get some coverage with the guys talking about Dead Rising 2 and Alan Wake. Perfect Dark has also been confirmed for XBLA and Daemon is especially interested in the update. Left 4 Dead DLC is touched upon before the group moves onto another edition of Knockin’ Boots.
Emails run long this week and close out the show with talk of the Mass Effect 2 soundtrack, PAX plans and IGN for Haiti stuff.
Covered games and topics: NPDs, Heavy Rain, Dead Rising 2, Alan Wake, Left 4 Dead, Perfect Dark XBLA, Knockin’ Boots, StarCraft II, emails
