Activision’s Bobby Kotick has been on the chatty side lately and let us know that Activision will be cutting down on music game releases. He also touched on the idea of a subscription-based Call of Duty. Whatever favor Mr. Kotick garnered with his first sentiment, was quickly lost on the guys with his second.
LA Noir has been confirmed as a Fall release, but the guys skim over the fact that it will also be coming to Xbox 360. BioShock isn’t grabbing the group, and the extreme similarity to the 1st game is cited as the main reason for this. Greg and Colin’s ‘Trophy Whore War‘ is still in full effect and Greg seems to be pulling ahead. Heavy Rain gets some love, Final Fantasy XIII may have finally gotten its hooks into Ryan and emails finish the show.
Covered games and topics: Less Guitar Hero, Tony Hawk Ride, Call of Duty franchise, LA Noir, BioShock 2, Star Ocean, trophy war, Heavy Rain, Final Fantasy XIII, emails
Chris, Greg, Ryan and Colin — Autobots, roll out! Actually, the Podcast Crew is neither robotic nor automatic, but the team does have the capacity for some serious podcasting business. On today’s show, Greg and Colin give another update on the Great IGN Trophy Whore War, as well as discuss the upcoming games that everyone should be excited about. Chris just reviewed Heavy Rain, for example, and Ryan saw Final Fantasy XIII! So much excitement, so little time.
