The Gamespy crew is trimmed to Anthony, Miggels and Gerald this week, ultimately resulting in a much leaner podcast. Dante’s Inferno starts off the show, a game which turns out to be not only similar to God of War in its positive attributes but also follows the negative aspects of the classic eastern-style action game. Frustrating puzzles mixed inelegantly with combat sequences harken back to Anthony’s controller throwing moments of God of War II, so excitement for Dante’s Inferno is quite tempered.
The Fallout: New Vegas teaser hit the pipes this week, appropriately doing little more than teasing the post-apocalyptic city of lights. Anthony’s recently been playing the original Fallout 3 and its expansions, so conversion segues quickly into anecdotes and unanimous agreement that Vegas could be little more than a huge expansion and still be satisfying.
