Game Scoop! Podcast, Episode 151

Mass Effect 2 fever continues with Greg calling it “better than Uncharted 2.” As a staunch supporter of the PS3, this is a pretty huge deal. Dante’s Inferno got a 7.5 from IGN and the Scoop! guys say that it is worth picking up if all you have is an Xbox 360, if you have a PS3, the word is to wait for God of War 3. The Grinder, the lastest game from the team that brought us The Conduit, is coming to the PS3 and Xbox 360 and will use motion controls.

Sonic 4 and Fallout: New Vegas receive hopeful comments. After another edition of Knockin’ Boots, Daemon shares that Ryan Geddes has moved back to Seattle and will therefor be providing a recurring solo segment. We hereby pu forth the name ‘Geddes got Gaming Goods’ for the segment. Email the Scoop! guys and let them know about this perfect title.

Emails and word of Xbox Live support for the original Xbox stopping finishes the show. Oh, and Bioshock 2 got a 9.1.

Covered games and topics: Mass Effect 2, Dante’s Inferno, The Grinder, Dark Void Zero, Sonic 4, Fallout: New Vegas, Knockin’ Boots, Geddes got Gaming Goods, email, original Xbox Live dead

Welcome back to Game Scoop!, your weekly dose of gaming news and random hilarity. Your shepherds this week will be Daemon HatfieldCraig HarrisErik Brudvig, and Greg Miller. Daemon has been struggling to get over a cold, so we’re training Soleus to take over the podcast, just in case he doesn’t make it.

Sony fanboy Greg Miller has declared Mass Effect 2 better than Uncharted 2. But is it even a fair comparison?

Dante’s Inferno is out and some of us can’t wait to play it just to see all the crazy crap EA crammed in there.

Dark Void didn’t turn out so well, but its 8-bit spin off, Dark Void Zero, is great.

Boots will be knocked: how should you dance at a highschool formal?

Geddes pops in to sound off on silly pre-order bonuses.

Plus we answer a bunch of reader mail about the IGN for Haiti auction, Nick Kolan, and Crackdown 2. Don’t forget, we’re available on iTunes, along with episodes of Game Scoop! TV. Remember to rate the shows while you’re there.

Haha, nice. Since I don't think Greg frequents CM, I will say it for him: "Touché, sir"
